Why not using the same as GNOME Maps (Mapbox)?
So we cannot use GNOME Maps API key (see last meeting minutes of Board
meeting).
I made an experiment with my own API key for the free plan. Just
browsing my collection caused
50 map accesses.
The free plan covers 50k accesses/month that means that we might serve
1k people with a
free MapBox plan, probably more with proper caching.
I have _no_ idea how many map requests Shotwell would generate in real
life, but that sounds a
bit tight.
