Howdy, I would like to be able to maintain 2 separate instances of Shotwell. The --datadir=<path> provides for multiple locations for the database, but it seems the library location is determined globally by dconf. Is there a workaround for this?
I use two users. Then I change the permisions (acl, actually) so that the photos have rw permission for the group, and both users belong to that group.
There is another problem: moving the photos from one user to another does not copy any of the tags or comments, despite the setting be to save them on the photos. So I have to copy, not move, manually apply tags and comments, then delete in "from" folder.
