I think there should be three possibilities: 1. Clicking on the title (should it select all or not?) 2. Pressing a shortcut like Ctrl+T or simply t 3. Title bar could end with a little tick "Batch Title mode", in which Page Up/Down and Enter would change pictures and title would always be active for directly typing.
Mattias -------------------- Hi Guys, In my special view the purpose of F-spot (and shotwell) is to replace picasa client to some extent in linux and other platforms. So I suggest checking the use cases in that first. I thing Mattias explanation is something that I like. On the other hand, for some reasons I dont like facebook type of batch title generation. I guess the thing I dont like is the fact that in the editing mode I need to have an image in my head what the output ( in viewing mode ) will look like. But it is totally subjective since it depends very much on the type of photographies for which I am generating the titles.
