Yes, integration with OpenCV (to get face detection capabilities) is part of my project. But we aren't following the project proposal since I'm working only in point 3 (points 1 and 2 were only about learning stuff) because my mentor prefers to get that done as good as is possible rather to add more functionality. I already have some part of OpenCV stuff implemented but I don't know if I'm going to get it done or not —and even achieving it before Summer of Code ends, I think that it wouldn't be included in Shotwell 0.11.
