Hi,

Oops! Apologies to the Lucid and Maverick users.

My back port didn't change all instances of libwebkit in 'debian/control', meaning the build worked but an install did not.

I've just submitted new builds to the Ubuntu buildd servers for both Lucid and Maverick which hopefully fixes the problem. With any luck installable versions for Lucid and Maverick will be available soon, please report back here so I know all is well :-)

Regards, Martin.

The following packages have unresolved dependencies:
shotwell:
Depends: libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-**0 (>=0.10.32) but 0.10.30-2 is
to be installed
Depends: libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 (>=1.1.5) but it is not installable

Should I add a PPA with a newest webkit ?

Rgrds,
Grigory

Hi,

I have updated my PPA with packages for Shotwell 0.11 built for Ubuntu
Lucid 10.04 LTS and Ubuntu Maverick 10.10. Since Shotwell 0.11 you
**must** enable the GStreamer PPA, see the ticket below for the reasons
for this requirement:

To install Shotwell on Lucid and Maverick do the following:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:flexiondotorg/shotwell
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:gstreamer-developers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install shotwell

Enjoy!

Are there any plans to build the new 0.11 version for Maverick ?
I would like to use the new Shotwell without upgrading core system.

Martin Wimpress does a build for Lucid..

https://launchpad.net/~**flexiondotorg/+archive/**shotwell<https://launchpad.net/%7Eflexiondotorg/+archive/shotwell>

.. I have my fingers and toes crossed that he will build version
0.11, if he does I think it should work in Maverick.
