Hi Thierry, We have a lot of features we'd like to add to Shotwell, but only so much time to work on it. I do think what you're suggesting is important, so I've created a separate ticket (http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4101) which is aimed at allowing editing of common metadata fields from the Basic and/or Extended Information panes.
