Bruno, I've installed Vala 0.12 on Oneiric before. It's just a
matter of
building it from source.
There's no need to build Vala 0.12 from source on Oneiric: simply
install the valac-0.12 package.
That's fine, building Vala from source is quite easy so I now have it
sorted, thanks! Hopefully I can find time to fix some bugs now.
