One thing I do with f-spot is duplicate my photos on my netbook. I use
rsync to update the photos on my netbook and to copy the f-spot
database over too. Then on the netbook I basically use f-spot as a
read-only photo viewer to get the benefit of tag lookups.
This becomes even more attractive with shotwell as it's so much faster
than f-spot for retrieving photos by tags. Would it be feasible to
synchronise my shotwell setup on a second machine and if so, what should
I rsync over?
