Doesn't seem there's anything unusual in that log.  But be aware that this
line:

L 2484 2011-09-26 17:05:27 [MSG] VideoSupport.vala:329: interpreter state
> cookie not found; assuming all video thumbnails are out of date
>

which means that Shotwell is going to fire off a process to re-thumbnail
your videos.  If you have a lot of videos, this may take a while --
particularly if the disk or CPU is slow on your system.

Anyway, not sure how much we can help with syncing database/photos over a
network, since that's not something any of us here have any experience with.

Maybe someone else on the mailing list has some ideas...?
