Currently if the writing metadata to photo files option is ON then every time metadata is updated on a photo it changes the modification timestamp of the photo.
It seems that photos needs to have the time they were taken preserved.
Is there some way to preserve the original timestamp on the file in the metadata?
If not, then would that not make the "Writing metadata to photo files" feature lose its value?
What is the best practice that akllows preservin the time a photo was taken (as metadata) along with other metadata such as tags, location etc.?
