Hi Firebird, >From looking at the build log, it looks like your Vala compiler is generating bogus C output. Please note that Shotwell 0.12.3 as packaged is designed to be built with Vala 0.15.2 or 0.16.x. So you've got two options. You could run Shotwell master, the latest and greatest straight from our git repo, which will build with the latest Vala, or you could downgrade your Vala compiler and build 0.12.3 as packaged.
