Yes, it's okay to run both versions on the same database.  I don't believe any 
schema changes were made between the two.

It's not as simple as just updating the PPA. The PPA version of
Shotwell offered by Yorba and the Canonical-patched version of
Shotwell distributed with Ubuntu Quantal differ substantially.
Specifically, the Ubuntu-distributed version of Shotwell has been
patched such that the Shotwell photo publishing system uses Ubuntu
Online Accounts for web service sign-in and authentication. We're
moving forward on a number of tracks. For example, we're working to
get the UOA support changes integrated into our upstream repo. We're
also considering offering a non-UOA version of Shotwell via the PPA
but no definitive decision has been made on this yet. Stay tuned.

Ok, for now, is it OK to run 0.13.0 and 0.13.1 towards the same DB? I share my 
Shotwell database so it's the same on three computers in our home.
