You're completely right about this. And indeed, calling get_client_pointer() on the Gdk.DeviceManager instance available as a local variable in the method block will give you the Gdk.Device for the primary mouse pointer, which is what you want. Once you get the merged Faces Tool to compile, by all means send an updated diff!
