I've ticketed this as a feature request at
http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/6254 and I will definitely bring it up
with the rest of the team.  I can see why you'd want this - navigating
through a large group of camera-raw images can take significant time
as each one gets developed on-demand.

...which is a remarkably unpleasant way to have to proceed, as you
note.  Looking at the schedule, I don't think this is something that
we'll be able to address in 0.14, but I am going to tentatively mark
it for the version after that.
