This is actually a timezone issue. The .mp4/.mov container spec states that "It is strongly recommended that [creation/modification times] should be specified using coordinated universal time (UTC)" (https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/QuickTime/QTFF/QTFFChap2/qtff2.html).
So your file has a date of 2001-02-03 13:14:15 UTC, which is 14:14:15 GMT+1.
