Raw files are like negatives. I only "print" (to jpg) a fraction of all the raw images I shoot. It is absurd to suggest that Shotwell is qualified to print those raw files since it has no idea of the preprocessing I want.
This has been asked before, but can Shotwell be made to ignore raw files? The answers before don't seem to suggest it can without external help.
