Colin's correct, even if it doesn't make the final freeze it can be
updated later in their repos. I've contacted Ubuntu to ask when that
might happen.

Don't panic. It doesn't really matter whether it is in the release or
not. As soon as it works its way through the system it will appear as
an update.
