First post to this list. I've searched the archives going back a
year or so as well as pointed google searches and don't see anything
similar to this.
What I have is a canon camera on a usb device that I have other
programs to control and monitor its function. What I would like is some
sort of table entry to keep shotwell from grabbing the device it every
time it recycles, or on system boot. Once shotwell grabs it I can't
control it without manually going into the gui and disabling it so the
other program can use the device. I should mention this is a fedora18
system running gnome.
I don't really want to disable shotwell per say as it has some
functionality that I use with other devices. I just want it to ignore
this one.
Does this sort of thing exist? or is this fall under the 'feature
request' column?
