the list of messages is using an etk tree and elementary
the messages itself are using elementary and libframeworkd-phonegui-efl 
themes. (have you checked your /etc/profile?)
my suggestion would be: install teh neo themes with -force-overwrite 
(opkg displays a warinign  that you have to do it this way when 
installing some of the themes)
check your /etc/profile (again opkg displays an information message at 
the end of the installation of the elementary theme)
