Hi,
A friend on the other side reported much better sound, and I don't hear
*so*much* static (it's dampened a lot).

What I find weird is that I only changed one setting (63) but 4 more appear
touched.
I don't know if they are bound to the value of 63 and if I change it they
change too, or if it's a bug. I attach my alsa sound state as reported by
alsactl as well.
Tomorrow I'll be making a few calls, I'll remeber to ask how it's sounding
on the other side :)
