If shr-testing has converted to using fsodeviced rather than the Python-based odeviced, then this is expected, since for latency minimizing reasons, fsodeviced only supports .wav at this time. I plan to add the gstreamer-based audio player back eventually though... Users can then chose between format-flexibility and latency.
