I remember something similar, I think we started taking a look at it, but
stopped as we figured we are going to overhaul all of the messaging app
anyway.
As for ecore-x, the only thing that actually uses it is obsolete, but yeah,
we should probably add it (and eventually remove it), I'm starring this
message, will do.
