Having read this, I decided to upgrade libopkg0 first:
$ opkg update
$ opkg install libopkg0
Configuring libc6
Configuring libopkg0
$ opkg
opkg: symbol lookup error: opkg: undefined symbol: opkg_op
Hm - this didn't go too well. Try the fix:
$ wget http://build.shr-project.org/tests/jama/libopkg.so.0.0.0 -O
/usr/lib/libopkg.so.0.0.0
$ opkg
opkg: symbol lookup error: opkg: undefined symbol: opkg_op
Hm - didn't help. If the older opkg isn't compatible with the newer
libopkg0, shouldn't dependencies prevent this scenario?
The fix was simple enough - I downloaded the .tar.gz and
unpacked a matching opkg and libopkg.
