I selected it today, but cannot revert it without enlightenment. :-/
I just upgraded and it booted fine. So my bet would be the neo theme... no idea
though. Can't you ssh into it and remove the neo theme via opkg?
I ssh'ed into it, and after unsuccessfully replacing lots of
binaries, i removed the .e directory. That solved everything.
Then I reinstalled lots of packages to get the newer binaries back.
