at least it solved the problem partly and temporarily ;-)

After a system hanger, WSOD and some "unknown errors" at the pin dialogue I 
rebooted once and then again the sd card was not to be mounted (not even 
manually): 

# mount -t reiserfs /dev/mmcblk0p1 /mnt
mount: /dev/mmcblk0p1 is not a valid block device

So I am back on standard kernel, at least until a new kernel image is 
available...
