Hi List. I just installed SHR-U from June 28 and get the following problem:
root# fltkspacetrader
X I/O error
This makes a restart necessary. Same with any other of my fltk*
programs.
After testing around a bit, I found that when I disable use of the XDBE
extension (modulename 'dbe', gets loaded according to Xorg.0.log) the X
server freezes. Once I disabled that in the source code and switched to
unbufferd windows, the program runs fine, but flickers obviously.
Any idea what the root cause of XDBE not working might be?
