thanks for your help. I reinstalled shr and it fixes the problem , now I can list devices with aplay -l and arecord -l. Successfully play sound with

It sometimes sneakes into your system by being listed as depency and then takes over the audiodevices. It's a different sound server, used by other desktop apps, then the ones of SHR. Of course then all the sound stuff won't work anymore, even if drivers and so on are ok. It's just because the hardware is already used by pulseaudio. So just look if you have installed pulseaudio... I suggest to run opkg list-installed | grep pulse And if you get some packages listed run opkg remove <package from list> reboot And then be lucky about returned sound :-) best regards leviathan
