Just to make sure (because it is the 1st time that I install to uSD):
I have a GTA02 device and the uSD has a normal partition table on it and
partition 1 (the only one) is formated with mkfs.ext2:

# mkfs.ext2 /dev/mmcblk0p1

i.e. not the full uSD, but the 1st partition;

Don't know if this does matter...

I edited as well 046 in the Wiki:

Thanks

PS: I have the FR at home, connected to power, and after boot it says
first 'Please wait: booting...', after ten minutes the screen went off
and so it sits there since 3 hours now
