I also use the terminal keyboard. It is OK for the TERM application, but for SMS I use it because I don't have french dictionnary for predictive. I would prefer a much finger friendly one for SMS. When writing SMS, I dont need to have the full text on the screen. The next line is enough. And the saved screen space can be used for the keyboard with big keys (like the one for dialing, predictive or not, it have no idea as I don't use predictive)
