OK, you could try this :-

1) plug your FreeRunner in to your computer with the USB cable.

2) Open terminal and do "sudo ifconfig eth2 192.168.0.200 netmask 255.255.255.0"

3) look in your Gnome menus for the thing that says "Connect to
server" and slect SSH for the Service Type and "192.168.0.202" for
Server and "root" for Username.
