They are there "-" and "+" over the bottom bar. Also there is the zoom_to_route andset_center_cursor button below the top bar. I made this OSD for car navigation: It should be clearly readable from a certain distance and still show all the routing information. On the screenshot the data is not shown because I cannot get a GPS fix here (Building with too much metal...). On the navit wiki I read sth about diefferent OSD profiles.
