BUT it is integrated in quick-settings now (which you might not know due to the theming problems there). All you have to do is:
mdbus2 -s org.shr.phonefso /org/shr/phonefso/Usage org.shr.phonefso.Usage.SetPdpCredentials apn user pw *once* phonefsod will remember those settings and automatically set the credentials when GSM comes up.
