do you have coreutils installed or is it ls from busybox?

busybox was build without lfs support after 
http://cgit.openembedded.org/cgit.cgi/openembedded/commit/?id=cd31df56e2451d3296607791706c542f94e23a14
without largefile DISTRO_FEATURE, added in
http://cgit.openembedded.org/cgit.cgi/openembedded/commit/?id=2b80712f64286bfae19e40b276050a9392eb9557
