For me it works. Drove to my parents the other day with Navit running
and when I arrived I put the FR manually in suspend mode. 4 hours
later
when going home I put it out of suspend and after 30-45 seconds I
had a
fix point again.

Running a clean flashed kernel 2.6.32.16.

Is your distro also clean flashed?

Yes, the version I use is downloaded on the 31. of July and flashed the
same day.

Then I can't undestand anything!
Could you compare your Neo with mine?

Mine is an A06 with uSD capacitor and #1024 fix.
I have tried with and without SIM and uSD.
I have 32 July SHR image installed on NAND yesterday night.
I have tried with fresh image and after opkg update& opkg upgrade.

GPS worked perfectly before 2.6.32 update. It still works with hackable:1
(installed on uSD) on the same device.
I can't get a fix after a single suspend.

A05 and I don't know of any capacitor or #1024 fix.
I have only tried without SIM and I opkg update & opkg upgrade almost
every day so it should be with the newest whatever.

Give me some time and will test again to see if it still works.

Still works.
Kernel 2.6.32.16
No SIM

What I did:
1. test
Disable autodiming and suspend.
Started Navit
Went into the garden, walked around until there were a fix.
Pushed power button and put it manually into suspend. (Did not close Navit)
Waited ~10 minutes.
Took it out of suspend.
Walked around maybe 15 seconds and had fix again.
