I am using SHR-T for many months (year ?) an flash the new one from may recently. Only 2 things make it unusable for daily use: - it is impossible to deactivate the lock screen (GPS routing with navit is not usable if you need to click on the aux button every 5 minutes when driving in the traffic) - in the setting, it is not possible to modify the tempo for dimming, locking, ... The menu is there, but does nothing. It is impossible to log GPS track if the FR is sleeping every 5 mn! The only work around I know is to use tangoGPS + obenbmap (obenbmap is blocking the hibernation). It works, but autonomy is reduced.

Except these 2 things (major bugs for me) , SHR-T works great. For sure it is very simple to correct them (but too complex for me!)It is with SHR-T that SHR is making is reputation.Everybody understand that SHR-U is a cooking revision, and is used at its own risks. But SHR-T is the reference and is under the sunlights. For the future of SHR, a hight level of quality of SHR-T is the key. Many people switch from SHR to other distribution (debian, H:1, or android) due to this lack of "polish".

Someone can step in and become shr-t maintainer..
I'm tempted, but between all the things I do already I don't think I'd have
time enough to add this task to my list.

PS: No need to do reply-all, I'm on the list too. A reply-to-list would make
my mail management easier ;-)

Regards,
