For the record I just checked and there were no updates outstanding to
my shr-t install.
I also forgot to mention the following issues that I noted down locally
but which are worth sharing:
* enlightenment crashes when either iliwi or mokonnect are closed
* the contacts app won't dial a number that has spaces in it (which is a
pain for me as I happen to like spaces)
* dialog windows are too small to read the contents - notably the
roadbook in navit (list roads and distances for a planned route).

Hiya,
I flashed shr-t a while ago (weeks rather than months), and ever since
then I've had two annoying problems that I haven't seen reported
before. I'll also make some other quick notes about shr-t in this
message with a view to possibly filing them as issues in trac a bit
later.
* When I receive an sms message, I get the normal notification of a
message tone and display of the message, but then at seemingly random
intervals ranging from a few minutes to several hours I get the same
alerts over and over again, usually ending up with at least three
copies of the message (sometimes as many as 10!). - This has caused me
to put the phone on vibrate and ignore it, resulting in not noticing
more than a few messages, to the annoyance of my acquaintances. This
has been a consistent issue with this install.
* The phone doesn't seem to vibrate for an incoming sms when the
profile is set to "vibrate" (or "default" for that matter). It does
vibrate for calls (not that I usually notice when it's loose in my
pocket).
* I have a presumably unrelated problem that for some reason the clock
no longer persists across a reboot, even having followed the
instructions in the wiki.
* This has highlighted that there is no way to set the date in the
settings gui (and I can't remember the date format for the console
when I'm out and about).
* I did apparently get sent an sms which never arrived on my
freerunner. I know this is not proof of an issue, but to be fair to
vodafone I've never had a report of an undelivered sms destined for me
before (I don't get very many and people usually mention them at some
point).
Does anyone know of an easy way to test send and receive of sms in the
UK after reflashing, some kind of online sms service for example?
A bit of a brain dump, but I figured it was worth writing down for now.
Keep up the good work!
