This is and old friend of all us [1] :) You can solve it with a hardware mod [2] [3] You can do it with no special equipment (a soldering iron, desoldering wick and soldering/desoldering skills). I've made it to my FR withut breaking anything ;) I think some company was offering #1024 fix as a service, but I cannot remember the name of the company, and I cannot find it now...
