FWIW I'm working on a program to connect to wifi networks via the
wpa_supplicant DBus API.
I've got the dbus base to a state where it can connect to open, WEP,
WPA-PSK networks. There is some code for WPA-EAP, but that's just a test
for WPA-EAP + TLS, code for other enc. methods is not even started. All
this is far from perfect as I face both my lack-of-wifi-knowledge and lack
of wpa_supplicant dbus documentation.
Currently there's no GUI, though I think the guts are in a state that some
GUI can be started.
If anybody is interested I can publish the code.
