Hi robin,
I had similar problems for weeks now. Today I wrote a script, that makes a
backup of all SMS on the SIM to a simple text file and afterwards deletes them
on SIM.
My SIM card can store about 25 Messages, so I try to read/delete 26 to be sure
to get them all
####################################
#!/bin/sh
date=$(date +%Y-%m-%d)
file=sms_$date
for i in $(seq 1 26)
do
echo "Message $i: " >>$file
mdbus2 -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device
org.freesmartphone.GSM.SIM.RetrieveMessage $i >>$file
mdbus2 -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device
org.freesmartphone.GSM.SIM.DeleteMessage $i
done
#####################################
I also created a desktop file so I just have to click on that in future,
hopefully ;-)
