Hi Sebastian, I tried navit with sdl and it was indeed much much faster. the only problem was that the icons under settings, ... and everything where somewhat out of scale (much much larger, so parts didn't fit on the screen) and parts of the transparent icons overlaying the map were not transparent anymore.
