a) update NO GMS again, after I tried to change the extremely loud profile ringtone from 10 to 20 to see if that had any effect a restart caused no GSM again. If I press settings I get phonefsod not running and looking at the log I can again see the error #6 as described earlier in the post at the end of the line. Though now if I press start phonefsod the whole phone freezes, so I have to take out the battery to get it started again to again see no GSM.
