I switched recently from unstable to testing 2011.1 and had no problems with my pim data. "/etc/freesmartphone/opim/pim.db" is some sqlite file which can be edited/viewed with sqlite3 tools, but be aware: The file is written by fso, so shutdown everything related to fso, the replace it and reboot your phone.

Or:

Enter a bind mount to the sd card in fstab like this:
/media/mmcblk0p4/opim /etc/freesmartphone/opim none bind 0 0
After a reboot '/media/mmcblk0p4/opim' will be mounted over '/etc/freesmartphone/opim' but the original file will still be there.

Cheers, Christian

Hello Aleix,

As far as I know, contacts data and messages are stored in:
"/etc/freesmartphone/opim/pim.db".

But I don't know for how much time it is there and then they could be
different for your SHR version, moreover the file format could have
changed compared to the previous versions of SHR.

You could also use PISI to tranfert contacts data (don't know for
messages...) but the simplest is certainly to store them in SIM.

If someone have more details...
