As it is my first posting to this list, some words about me. I own a FR
since Om2008.9 and dit a lot of tweakings with this. Since 3 years it is
my one and only daily mobile. I have more then 25 years of UNIX
background.
Some days ago I decided to buy a 2nd GTA02 to install another (newer)
distribution on it: SHR

Built from branch: shr/testing2010
Revision: 28bc48904e31c3a63cf5a60bc005ed8fb359cc52
I have already a lot of stuff again up and running:
- tangoGPS and 'my' Maps (copied from my laptop)
- stardict and my Spanish dictionary and my own keyboard with Spanish
tildes
- x11vnc server
- synced contacts from my host VCF file
Now I'm struggling with the audio quality of calls. While doing a call
it starts with Speaker OFF and Mute OFF, Volume set to zero and Mic set
to high; I can't hear anything until switching Speaker
to ON and Volume to high; there is nothing coming out from the upper speaker
(which you have at your ear); and the echo for the called party is very
bad; for sure I'm doing something wrong;
My questions are:
Where is the audio config stored in the config files?
Why nothing is coming out from the handset speaker?
What I'm doing wrong?
