Dear All,
I have followed the instructions in the USER MANUAL of SIESTA-1.3f1p,
and unpacked the SIESTA distribution in a named folder. At the Src/Sys
subdirectory, the makefile that suits my architecture is
'intel-mkl.make, which I copied into the the Src subdirectory, and
renamed it arch.make as instructed.

However, at the $ prompt, when I typed 'make', the following error was
obtained

Compilation architecture to be used:
If this is not what you want, creat the right arch.make file using the
models in Sys

Hit ^C to abort ...

==> Incorporating information about present compilation (compiler and flags)
make[1]: ifc: Command not found
make[1]: *** [compinfo.o] Error 127
make: *** [version] Error 2

I want to know how I can find the appropriate arch.make file for my pc
architecture. my OS is opensuse 11.2 (64 bit)
Intel(R) Fortran Compiler Professional Edition 11.0 for Linux
Intel(R) Math Kernel Library 10.1 for Linux
my pc specification is : CPU core i7 AND RAM 4GiB

Thanks
Raheleh
