Dear Med, How did you compared the two different images (by RHO and LDOS) ? When I used the WSxM to obtain STM images it was necessary to choice isovalues to obtain the respective image. So, you need to choice equivalent RHO and LDOS isovalues. What exactly is the difference ?
The Tersoff & Hamman model for STM images says that the image is a map of the local density of states. So I always used the LDOS file to capture the images. My bests, Weslley.
