I use Debian, because it is easy to maintain, and far more secure than
Redhat. I like Redhat better, and the debian politics annoy me to no end,
but Debian is the better distribution. I recommend to nebies either one,
depending on what most of the people they know use. If I am going to be
their main source of question answering, I suggest Debian, but otherwise
Redhat due to its larger user base.

Now When I say debian is the better distro, I mean in that it is easier to
maintain/upgrade, and it is more secure with less work. Redhat is
certainly eaiser to use du to its control panel and whatnot.. but that is
also a power limiter. The typical ease of use vs. power problem..

I don't give a rats ass about open source policy.. I use the best product,
which I think is Debian... but hell, I'm probably wrong.
