you'll have to find the actual file that is the man page, to do it this
way, but here's how i'd do it:
nroff -man -Tascii whatever.1 > whatever.txt
(hint, try 'locate nameofprogram' to find its man page...should be called
program.X for X between 1 and 9)
please turn off the html garbage your mailer generates when posting here
in the future---your 0line message took up 40 lines in my mailbox for
absolutely no reaosn. be a net-ecology-friendly user and don't waste
