This doesn't really have anything to do with Linux, but it does
with CS, and since most if not all of you are CS, here ya go:
A friend of mine that works at Dell said his manager asked him
to find a programmer for their division.
Basically they need a gui that will run in NT4 and Win95/98
that can query either an Access or Oracle database and return
information on the query. He said they'd want it probably in
VB or VC++, but they wouldn't care as long as it worked and
had a gui. He said that job is worth $3K to them right now,
and if the programmer does a dazzling job they'd probably hire
him on fulltime for roughly $15-$16/hr, set you up with a cube,
laptop, and full benefits...
It would make a decent college job if anyone is interested.
I don't know VB or anything about Oracle or Access, or
anything about gui in Windows, and have a better job anyway,
but feel free to contact him if you want to give it a shot.
