motif is libXm. lesstif will do for jdk-1.1.7a. (grab the contrib rpms
or actually better yet grab em from www.hungry.com---the ones in the
contrib ftp site are ancient by linux standards)
i have folks using it without problem...

XFree86-devel
people should be doing the "everything" install from redhat, apparently...
if you don't have a reference machine to login to to do
rpm -qf `locate Blah`
anyway.. save yourself much grief.
is there no analog to rpmfind that's searchable by filename? it would take
even me, webhater that i am, about 30 minutes to roll a cgi that would
say "given this string, tell me what rpm contains files whose names
contain the string" and even if it were just on locally installed rpms...
it would still be useful to a lot of folks on this list im guessing.
anyone want to write such a thing? i can run a webserver on a machine
that has "everything" installed...
