Hmmm... Last time I set up dhcp (client-side) was almost a year ago, but...
I was using MkLinux (DR2.1 + updates), which is vaguely based on RedHat.
I grabbed the dhcpcd source distrib. from sunsite. I don't remember which
version I originally used, but 0.7 compiled correctly, installed and
leased an address without problems. (I was using the directions that were
on the SIGLinux web pages at the time.) However, I did have problems
with earlier versions (before 0.65, I think) leasing addresses correctly.
